Could spring really be here?!

Perhaps my loyal readers will remember the long, cold, snowy winter we had in Macedonia last year. It was said that it was the worst winter they had had in Ohrid for 40 years! Well, mother nature seems to be making up for things, as she tends to, over the last week or so. It has been in the low to mid 50s and sunny and just really lovely. I even got a bit of a sunburn during a long brunch outside on Sunday. (You can see evidence below) I won't assume that spring is here to stay, but I am going to enjoy it as much as I can while I can.

I have also posted pictures of my 'washing machine'. Although, the water has been on and off the last few days so I never know when I will be able to wash anything.

And I posted a picture of a car I found in the old city. I had seen it before, but never had my camera with me. The car is actually full of boxes. I don't know if the owners were getting ready to move or just using the car as storage.

My first sunburn of the year!

Laundry without a washing machine. I am serious!

Uh, sir? Could you move you car please? It has been blocking my house for... 15 years...

Yet another use for old News Weeks! (also travel brochures, alumni magazines, Mother Jones, UTNE, etc) This is my mandolin case. Shaun made the case out of old boxes before he left and I did the decorating.
